Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167/1A-001 replica, the dial on earlier Aquanauts from 2007 and until 2009 —around the time Patek switched from the Poinçon de Genève to the Patek Philippe Seal—, doesn’t have the ‘Swiss Made’ writing at 6 o’clock. Additionally, the luminescent material on these dials seems less bright than that on later Aquanauts and interestingly enough, we found that the lume was also applied in a somewhat uneven way with the ‘9’ numeral being slightly brighter than the rest of the numerals. With a nice thick construction, this bracelet seems sturdier than the bracelet on the Nautilus and is finished with satin-brushed center links and mirror polished outer links. When closed, the hidden clasp allows for a seamless look finished with an engraved iconic Calatrava cross. On the wrist, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref. 5167/1A-001 on stainless steel bracelet wears slightly bigger than its counterpart on rubber strap and with a totally different wrist presence.
